Bike for Books

Edu-Cycle tours are not only a perfect way to explore the picturesque surroundings of Siem Reap, but also a great way to give something back to the local community. We believe passionately that education is the key to a bright future and that every child should have access to primary education.

Schools in Cambodia are chronically under-funded and under-equipped. At Edu-Cycle we raise funds from our tours to provide books and learning materials for local schools. From each booking, $2 of the tour price goes directly into our Bike for Books fund, which we use to purchase much needed books and materials for primary schools that we support in our community. By going on an Edu-Cycle tour, you will be having a positive impact on the local community you are visiting.

Books, Globes, Pens and More

We are happy to have been able to donate over $100.00 worth of books and materials to Wat Chork Primary School including globes, storybooks, exercise books and pencils. The globes were particularly well received and we plan to get as many globes into classrooms as we can in the future, hopefully igniting a interest in the world and geography. Thank you to all our tour guests for your support and for helping to make these donations possible as we continue our mission to support primary education within our community.

Football Donation

We are very happy to have been able to donate five footballs, a football pump and football bag to Wat Chork Primary School in Siem Reap. Sport is an important part of children’s education, providing opportunities not only to exercise but also to learn about teamwork, not to mention burning off some energy so they can be calmer during classroom time! Thank you to all our tour guests, it is with your support that we can continue providing under-equipped local schools with much equipment and learning materials.
