We recently made the long trip through jungle terrain to a small primary school more than 2 hours from Siem Reap. The school, no more than a shack, was started less than a year ago by a local monk and nearby teachers to provide education to children living so remotely that they have no other access to education. The small school, has been constructed in a jungle clearing and currently has 69 students up to the age of 10. We handed out some basic supplies to the children, although the main purpose of the trip was to find out how we can provide more support in the future. Watch this space to stay informed of our plans!
